๐Ÿ˜ญ Taking advantage of tragedy ๐Ÿ˜ญ

TAKING ADVANTAGE OF TRAGEDY One of the worst experiences of my life was when I had a break up. The girl I loved and with whom I saw my entire future with, suddenly left. I could see it coming and I will be the first one to tell you that I deserved it, but I had totally underestimated the impact it would have on me. I spent the first year recovering from depression and the second year getting over her. Iโ€™d say I only truly moved on 2 and a half years later.ย  Whilst the experience was very traumatic (world...

๐Ÿ’‰ My take on steroids ๐Ÿ’‰

Posted by Eddie . on

Anabolic steroids are a major topic in the bodybuilding community and are often seen as taboo. Any serious lifter also knows how prevalent they are, even for the lifters at your local gym who youโ€™d assume donโ€™t use them.ย  During my time as a bodybuilder, I have never used steroids or any drug that is used to enhance muscle mass or promote fat loss (such as SARMs or Clenbuterol). The furthest I have gone is taking creatine and amino acid supplementation (the kind you find at Chemist Warehouse).ย  On my tiktok (and in person) I am often questioned (and accused)...

๐Ÿƒ Tips to staying consistently lean ๐Ÿƒ

Posted by Eddie . on

Here are few common tips I use to stay consistently lean for at least 6 months of the year: Recognise that you actually need as much food as you think: Typically when we eat, the last 20% of food we consume is not needed for sustenance and is either consumed out of boredom or pleasure. Get into the habit of putting 20% less food on your plate. Initially this may be a struggle, but the more you exercise this discipline, the easier it will become.ย  Make use of cheat days: I stress this in all my material. Cheat days are...

๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ The importance of taking ownership ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ

Posted by Eddie . on

Taking ownership over something (say a project) means you take FULL responsibility for ensuring that what needs to be done to accomplish the project, gets done. It also means you take responsibility over the result of the project, so if it succeeds, you take credit, but if it fails, you take the blame (even for reasons that, initially, appear out of your control). This concept became very apparent to me when I wanted to get lean but I was with a partner that loved eating sweets and junk food. Whenever we were together, sheโ€™d be eating junk food, whilst I...

๐Ÿท Do thermogenics and fat burners really work? ๐Ÿฅค

Posted by Eddie . on

I started taking fat burners (also known as โ€˜thermogenicsโ€™) this year because I wanted to see if I could make my process of staying lean easier.ย  But what are fat burners? Basically theyโ€™re supplements that boost your metabolism, increase fat burning and reduce appetite. Hereโ€™s my experiences with them. I definitely donโ€™t think theyโ€™re necessary because I achieved sub-10% body fat at least 4 times before I started using them. Iโ€™ve found theyโ€™re good at keeping me awake (they typically have caffeine) and suppressing my appetite (at least psychologically). But honestly I canโ€™t tell if theyโ€™ve actually increased my fat...
