🙈 The Experience Of A Shy Gym Rat 🙈

Posted by Eddie . on

You might be surprised but I am shy and nowhere is this more evident than at the gym. Through this post, I hope to shed some light on what shy guys think at the gym. As a disclaimer, these are my personal thoughts.  We actually want to talk to you I have a bad habit of not smiling. It’s a habit I’ve carried since my early years and by default, I tend to always have an RBF (google the acronym if you don’t know what it is). A lot of people interpret this to mean I am angry or I...

🤝 Difficulty In Taking Ownership 🤝

Posted by Eddie . on

Taking ownership and blaming ourselves is one of the hardest things to do. This is something almost everyone struggles with and I’ve never met someone who can do it with ease all the time (I am even referring to yogis or vipassana teachers). This is an area I am personally trying to get better at. Here are my biggest impediments: It doesn’t feel ‘fair’. I always encounter people who don’t take ownership when they should (either intentionally or unintentionally), so when I do take ownership, I feel it's unjust. I feel I am putting in the effort, being responsible and...

🧓 Respect Your Elders 👵

Posted by Eddie . on

It’s fathers day this weekend and I want to make a post about my parents. I love them but they annoy me, so much so, I had to move out long ago. Having said that, I owe them a lot. They’ve done much for me and have never sought credit or acknowledgement. They’ve been my silent supporters. Even when they don't know how to help, they’ve acted with my best interests at heart.  Aside from everything else they’ve done, they’ve also guided and advised me, even though this advice has sometimes proven wrong. But life has taught me you always...

🙌 Life-time of shreds 🙌

Posted by Eddie . on

My techniques and methods for getting and staying shredded are admittedly not the most effective at retaining muscle whilst losing fat. They definitely work (at least from my experience) but I am sure I could retain more muscle if I followed a more scientific process.  Why don’t I revise my methods then? Because my methods are designed to fit in my life. My goal isn’t to step on stage and have the most sizable muscles with 0% body fat. Rather I want to live a life of constantly being shredded with decently sized muscles and have visible abs with vascular...

🧘🏼‍♂️ Is society becoming more self aware? 🧘🏼‍♀️

Posted by Eddie . on

Those who follow my content will know that I believe self awareness is very important. I see it as an essential component to happiness and mental peace. I’ve noticed earlier generations (such as baby boomers) are less self aware than the current generation. I am still shocked at how my parents are easily carried away by their emotions, especially in an argument. During these times, I have to step in and be self aware for them, which means I have to talk through their emotions objectively with them. But often they either aren’t able to comprehend the guidance or aren’t...
